Our Approach
Think | Innovate | Change
You see it everywhere, synonymous with the 3CM brand. But why is George Sawiris, 3CM’s managing director, so fixated on these three words?
With all learning and development programmes and strategic management consultancy, George constantly encourages participants to focus on:
- Think [thingk] to consider for evaluation or for possible action upon.
- Innovate [in-uh-veyt] to introduce something new; make changes in anything established.
- Change [cheynj] to make the form, nature, content, future course of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone.
3CM’s vision is to transform people, teams and organisations, without boundaries… by providing the highest quality of integrated learning and development for individuals and organisations, through blended group-based and work-based learning in the most sustainable and cost efficient way.
Working towards our vision, 3CM typically aims to:
- Develop High Performance Leaders
- Develop High Performance Teams
- Develop High Performance Organisational Culture
Our results, by working together, typically impact on strategic imperatives such as:
- Productivity performance
- Customer value performance
- Safety performance
- Financial performance.
Our Approach to Workshops
Our courses are highly participative workshops and project forums in the true sense. You'll have an opportunity to explore issues and practice skills during individual and group activities. We believe that the most beneficial elements of our workshops are your opportunities to perform the new skills and receive feedback (not only from the facilitator, but from your peers as well).
We follow a quick pace in our workshops so expect a high-content, high-involvement, high-energy programme. We'll use checklists, handouts, questionnaires, learning guides, worksheets and workbooks, and samples of templates to provide you with tangible guidance in developing new skills. Numerous tips and techniques are contained in the course materials and reinforced during exercises. The focus and efficiency you gain from the workshop will reduce your extra workload.
To summarise – our approach is to do it rather than talk about it.
Our Materials
Our focus is on realistic, practical material you can apply on the job. We concentrate our efforts on the how-to's in the field. We also go to great lengths to ensure our workshops are all performance-based, where we provide you with step-by-step procedures to follow (rather than theories, principles, and concepts).
Our materials are drawn from years of experience in the learning and development industry and they are based on well-documented research and proven principles of adult learning.
Studies have shown that if new material is not used within 30 days, over 90% of that material is forgotten. To help you retain the new skills, we provide a comprehensive learners guide you can refer to long after the workshop.
We make certain that we do not over-complicate the material. You will leave with the feeling "This isn't so hard. I can do it." We won't overwhelm you or try to impress you with our skill – we want you to be impressed with your own skill by the time you leave.
Our Commitment to You
These transformational learning workshops are a large part of what we do – they’re not just a sideline. We specialise 100% in transforming individuals, teams and organisations.
We continuously improve our workshops and professional services based on client suggestions and feedback. Our goal is to make our services as up-to-date, relevant, and user-friendly as possible.
We base our workshops on a realistic approach to the business environment. We use innovative techniques that you can apply to your own courses, in your own setting.
Our workshops require effort on your part, but we also make sure that they are lively, entertaining, and fun. Learning without pain works!
