Team Coaching

Team Coaching works with intact teams to improve performance and the processes by which performance is achieved through reflection and dialogue. Team Coaching is a powerful development option for teams performing at all levels as it helps reveal and utilise the collective wisdom of the team through a structured process over a period of time, usually around 12 months. 3CM’s approach to team coaching acknowledges that it is when the whole team is working well together that the best results are achieved. This requires a focus on both organisational outcomes and team dynamics.

Based on Lencione’s framework of five functional foundations of a team, we work with you to take team members from trust all the way through to a place where the whole team is greater than the sum of its parts. Contemporary organisations are less hirearchical than they once were - both in composition and in operating philosophy. Organosations world-wide have long been aware of the phenomenon of synergy, that a team can accomplish a lot more than its individual members can by working alone.  In fact, the team has replaced the individual as the primary unit of focus in innovative organisations.  With this emphasis on teams has come the realisation that a team takes a life of its own, that efforts must be made regularly to nurture and maintain it, just as these efforts are made in behalf of individual employees.

The Importance of Coaching

You will have the opportunity to review your 360-degree leadership assessment report during the program and debrief during your one-on-one coaching sessions. Working with an executive coach, you will understand your strengths, uncover areas for improvement and define a personal leadership action plan.
