IS YOUR ORGANISATION FIT FOR THE FUTURE?The nationally recognised TAA qualifications are placed squarely at the heart of the drive to ensure your workforce are competently skilled to meet current and future demands. Training and development has always been integral to human resource management and now more than ever, designing and delivering training and assessment programmes which provide career pathways for employees is essential for organisations wishing to train and retain. The skills learned in conceptualising the training process have heightened understanding of how learning is facilitated in all types of training programmes. To this end, the TAA is valuable for both accredited and non-accredited training. It can also form part of a strategic theme to retrain and retain 30 plus years of experience, skill and wisdom of mature-aged workers (approximately 32% of the workforce are aged 45 and 64… there are 3.7 million of us!).
Our programme is for:
Entry RequirementsParticipants would ideally be working as a training and development practitioner, in order to complete the practical assessment components of the programme. However, access to simulated environments can be arranged. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104)To achieve the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment candidates must complete 14 units of competency, this is essential if you intend to deliver the training for the TAA itself.
Industry TAA Skill SetsAs a result of numerous conversations and consultation with organisations centred on the desire to have staff acquire only the identified key units from the full qualification, those which would ensure their trainers hold “skill sets” directly relevant to their business needs. Under this approach, staff trainers would still benefit by gaining statements of attainments for the units they complete. As a result we recommend the following skill sets:
TAA Upgrade from BSZ40198 to TAA40104Although it is not a requirement for staff to upgrade their qualifications from the old Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198), many practitioners are using the opportunity for professional development (PD) and gain further recognition with the new qualification. 3CM has mapped the BSZ and TAA competencies and is now able to offer this upgrade PD programme that leads to assessment against the TAA qualification. Participants complete the three modules below and then a full assessment against all fourteen Units of Competence to achieve this qualification.
Think you may have the skills already?
