People already possess the knowledge and skills to perform in their area of expertise.  That’s probably why they got promoted in the first place.  But being a manager or supervisor demands a new type of skill. That’s exactly why we designed this suite of courses: to provide managers and supervisors with practical tips, techniques and solutions needed for success without incurring too many hard knocks that come with trial and error; which ultimately impacts on confidence and competence.

At this level, frontline managers provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes.

3CM has tackled an old idea with a new twist. The programme retains its integrity and is true to its original philosophy of adopting a highly interactive project forum, with group action learning in a collaborative research and information marketplace for maximum impact and learning, The new twist is the flexible delivery of training 3CM has devised, taking a modularised approach to fit within most schedules and learning styles.  Participants can attend the modules in any order and undertake assessment that enables them to demonstrate competence and confidence as they progress through the programme.

Return on Investment

During the Project Forums, participants will be guided through the selection of a strategically linked Workplace Project that will be agreed between the candidate, their line manager and 3CM.  Successful completion of the Project will form the assessment for the programme.  The Project will also provide a tangible return on investment through transference of the learning to the workplace.

Requirements to obtain a qualification

To achieve the Certificate IV in Frontline Management candidates must complete 10 units of competency – 4 core units plus 6 elective units.

Those who aim to achieve the Diploma of Management candidates are required to complete 8 units of competency – 5 core units plus 3 elective units.
