Q. What will I receive when I attend a course?A. You will receive a comprehensive Learning Guide containing job aids, checklists, samples, decision tables, and models as permanent references. The Learning Guide is used throughout the course. It is a comprehensive toolkit and a model for your own courses. Every page in our Learning Guide is designed as a job aid.
Q. What is included in the fee of my course?
A. In addition to your Learning Guide (workshop materials) and having the expertise of our facilitators at your fingertips, you will receive lunch each day, unlimited coffee and tea service, discount rates in the hotels, copies of magazines to examine, a selected bibliography of the best books in the field, suggestions for further professional development, information on what other organisations are doing, a tangible action plan to implement immediately, and a certificate of completion for a non accredited course.Q. What kind of support can I expect after I attend a course?A. We offer a free 1-year edit/follow-up service on most of our workshops. Send us a copy of materials you design or a video-recording of yourself instructing and we`ll give you detailed feedback. We also offer free telephone consultation. If you need advice, confirmation of a decision, or someone to discuss ideas with – just give us a call.
Q. Will there be time to speak directly with the facilitator when I’m at the workshop?A. You can have one-on-one discussions with the facilitator about your individual projects or concerns while attending one of our programs. In addition to being available during breaks, the course leader will also be available after hours, and before the course starts in the morning. You are invited to schedule one-on-one sessions to discuss concerns based on your needs and assignments back home.Q. What can I expect at a 3CM workshop?A. On the morning of your workshop, you will be greeted at the door by the course leader who will welcome you (as if you were a guest in our home) and ensure your comfort. At the back of the room, we have provided coffee and tea will also be available in the afternoon. When you choose your seat, you’ll find the table has been carefully prepared for you. You’ll see a course manual, name card, pen, and water. You will also see a display table containing copies of magazines devoted to the field of your study. You will be comfortable. Attendance is limited to allow maximum participation and feedback. You’ll find yourself in a small group of 3-4 people to facilitate the frequent group exercises planned.
Q. How are your workshops structured?A. Expect your course to be highly participative. There are many group and individual exercises, case studies, and samples to critique. There will be varied activities and methods to keep you interested and stimulated. We’ll maintain a good pace so boredom won’t set in. We invite questions, comments, and even rebuttal at any time you wish (and only if you wish). We won’t throw questions at you or put you on the spot. Breaks will be scheduled frequently so you can stretch, walk, talk, or make phone calls.
Q. Will I have an opportunity to network with anyone else?A. There will be many opportunities to learn from each other and the course leader. We rotate our Action Learning Teams so you get a chance to meet and learn from your peers. You will also find out what leading organizations are doing. Additionally, on the first day of our multiple-day workshops our facilitator will hold a forum at 4:30. This is a 20-minute session where participants can discuss and problem-solve any non-workshop related training issues. The session is facilitated by the session leader and provides an informal networking opportunity for the clients. Of course, client participation is optional. And finally, some participants may decide to go out to dinner as a group. Participants have said this type of social activity has been invaluable for building contacts, advancing learning, and discussing key concerns – and it certainly helps build camaraderie.
There are networking opportunities galore!Q. What is the dress code when attending a 3CM course?
A. The dress code is smart-casual. However, if you are attending one of our presentation skills courses we prefer you to come in business dress.
Q. How many people will there be on the course?
A. 3CM courses are run with small numbers (maximum 10) to ensure each attending delegate receives individual help and guidance from the tutor.
Q. What time does the course start/end?
A. All of our programmes start promptly at 08:30 on the first day with a coffee reception and finish at either 16:30 or 17:00 on the last day. Facilitators will be in the classroom anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.; coffee and tea will also be available at that timeQ. I want to enroll on a in-company course. Is the accommodation included in the course fee?
A. No. We will book accommodation on your behalf but you will need to settle your overnight accommodation bill with the venue on your departure.
Q. I want to enroll on an Open Learning course, but need to stay overnight. Can you arrange accommodation for me?
A. We can provide you with details of local hotels and we often have special arrangements with these that you can take advantage of.
Q. I want to book an in-company course. Do I have to stay at the venue?
A. We don`t insist that you stay in the venue but we strongly recommend that you do. There will be evening syndicate work for you to complete as part of the programme and staying at the venue will make this easier for you. Many delegates also find it useful to have the opportunity to chat and socialisewith other delegates in the evening.
Q. Do you run this course at another venue?
A. Any of our courses can be run at a venue of your choice, exclusively for your own people. We also offer customised or in-company training.
Q. How do I get to the venue?
A. You will be sent full joining instructions by email or post. Maps and directions to the venue will be included in your pack.
Q. How do I get a 10% Early-Bird discount?
A. To qualify for a 10% Early-Bird discount, bookings must be paid for two months in advance of the course start date.
Q. What are my payment options?
A. 3CM accepts various forms of payment including: cheque, Electronic Funds Transfer, and MasterCard as well as Visa. If paying by cheque, please make it payable to "3CM Pty Limited" and allow sufficient time for clearing. Our bank details for EFT payments are available upon request. If paying by credit card we will call you once we have received your booking to take your credit card details. Calls will be made during normal office hours. If you prefer, your organisation may be invoiced for your training. Fees and charges are subject to change without notice.
Q. What are the course booking terms and conditions?-Re: Payment of Invoices. All payments are due 14 days before the start of a course, or within 7 days of booking for courses on special offer. If you are booking a course now that is due to start within 14 days you should choose to pay by debit/credit card. Our staff will call you to take the card details. Payment cannot be made by delegates on the day.
- Re: Cancellations & Transfers. Courses are run with small numbers for maximum effect. Cancellation/transfers after places have been confirmed will incur an administration charges, please refer to our Terms & conditions on our website www.3CM.com.aufor full details. Cancellations and transfers must be received in writing at least 10 business days prior to course commencement. Substitutes can be made at any time up to start of course without cost penalty.

When processing your application or enrolment we collect personal information about you for the purpose of providing you with a high level of service. Information you provide to 3CM is kept for as long as it is needed to provide services or products, and when it is no longer required it will be destroyed.
