Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)

Why study the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with 3CM School of Management?

Because since 1990 our program gets results...a real transformation!  Well-structured and enjoyable training coupled with clear, practical assessments ensures you achieve the required outcomes.

Through a combination of classroom-based, instructor-led learning, online tasks, and practical and written assessments, you will complete the 10 units of competency required to achieve the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The nationally recognised Certificate IV in Training And Assessment (TAE10) professional qualification is placed squarely at the heart of the drive to ensure your workforce are competently skilled to meet current and future demands. Learning and development has always been integral to HR management and now more than ever, designing and delivering workplace training and assessment programmes which provide career pathways for employees is essential for organisations wishing to train and retain.

The skills learned in conceptualising the training process have heightened understanding of how learning is facilitated in all types of training programmes. The TAE10 is required by practitioners within a Registered Training Organisations (RTO) structure and is valuable for accredited and non-accredited training.

Qualification Requirements: Total number of 7 core units plus 3 electives plus assessment. (The previous version of this qualification, TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, has now been superseded.)

Learning Options

You will acquire the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality, group-based learning sessions through the combination of facilitated workshops and student peer experiences: the classroom environment is a valuable and powerful component of your learning experience.  Workshops are supplemented by online resources and learner manuals, and email and telephone support are provided if required.

With a focus on practical training skills, our programme covers:

  •      How adults learn and the implications for your training
  •      Maximising student participation and engagement
  •      Learning styles and tailoring your delivery
  •      Use of resources, handouts, electronic presentations and other media

Duration

At 3CM we have three models of delivery for this program.  The full qualification may be offered as a shorter programme elsewhere, however, at 3CM School of Management, we believe it is crucial that you have time between classes to absorb and apply your learning.

  1. We have therefore designed an integrated program delivered over seven months of day classes.
  2. Alternatively, our intensive seven-day program is recommended for applicants who are currently practising in a vocational education and training environment is coming soon in 2013.
  3. We also have RPL programs available for those who wish to upgrade.
