Credit Transfer TAA40104 to TAE40110 Upgrade

The TAE10 training package replaces TAA04 Training Package for Training and Assessment, and has been implemented progressively under transition arrangements. This bridging course is designed to for training practitioners who need to update their TAA40104 qualification.

Qualification Upgrade Requirments

There are two requirements that will give students direct credit when upgrading from TAA40104 to TAE40110.

  1. Completion of TAADEL402B Facilitate group based learning as one of their elective in the TAA40104
  2. If one of the electives on their transcript is either TAADEL301A or TAAASS301B they will also need to provide evidence that they have completed a unit of competency at Certificate III, IV or Diploma level from any training package. For example BSBWOR401A from the Business Services Training Package.

The student must either complete the following three units OR submit a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application:

Students will also be required to:

  • Submit a certified copy of their Certificate IV TAA (TAA40104) qualification along with an academic transcript showing units completed
  • Provide a CV that detaisl your experience and showing currency of training and assessment sector 
  • Provide evidence that you have undertaken professional development (with any supporting documentation of attendance) to maintain the currency of your training and assessment competence
  • Supply a signed declaration from your supervisor (or equivalent) to confirm currency
  • Supply copies of two (2) assessmnet instruments that you developed that addresses competency standards
  • Prove that you planned, organised and delivered a group-based learning session according to a session plan

Important note: The student must sign and date each page of their CV as a confirmation of its accuracy and that it is a true account.
