When will the 2012 calendar of workshops be available?
Answer: Please contact 3CM for course information.
-
How long do workshops run for?
Answer: The duration of the course depends on the content - you can check on the training section of the website for course lengths. Workshops typically run from 08:30 on the first day with a coffee reception and finish at either 16:30 or 17:00 on the last day. Facilitators will be in the classroom anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Coffee and tea will also be available at that time.
-
What will I receive when I attend a course?
Answer: You will receive a comprehensive Learning Guide containing job aids, checklists, samples, decision tables, and models as permanent references. The Learning Guide is used throughout the course. It is a comprehensive toolkit and a model for your own courses. Every page in our Learning Guide is designed as a job aid.
-
What is included in the fee of my course?
Answer: In addition to your Learners Guide (workshop materials) and having the expertise of our facilitators at your fingertips, you will receive lunch each day, unlimited coffee and tea service, discount rates in the hotels, copies of magazines to examine, a selected bibliography of the best books in the field, suggestions for further professional development, information on what other organisations are doing, a tangible action plan to implement immediately, and a certificate of completion for a non accredited course.
-
What kind of support can I expect after I attend a course?
Answer: We offer a free 1-year edit/follow-up service on most of our workshops. Send us a copy of materials you design or a video-recording of yourself instructing and we'll give you detailed feedback. We also offer free telephone consultation. If you need advice, confirmation of a decision, or someone to discuss ideas with – just give us a call.
-
How are your workshops structured?
Answer: Expect your course to be highly participative. There wll be group and individual exercises, case studies, and samples to critique. There will be varied activities and methods to keep you interested and stimulated. We’ll maintain a good pace so boredom won’t set in. We invite questions, comments, and even rebuttal at any time you wish (and only if you wish). We won’t throw questions at you or put you on the spot. Breaks will be scheduled frequently so you can stretch, walk, talk, or make phone calls.
-
How many people will there be on the course?
Answer: 3CM courses are run with small numbers (maximum 10) to ensure each attending delegate receives individual help and guidance from the tutor.
-
Recognition of Prior Learning, Where do I stand?
Answer: This is a very important question and an involved assessment process; it’s often confused and misunderstood. To this end, we have dedicated a whole section on it: RPL.
-
